Rabbit in Wonderland Necklace

 
A statement pendant serves as the playland where rabbits frolic around. The rabbit has long been a symbol of creativity and longevity. There is a belief that a bunny crossing your path could mean that you must follow your intuition or undergo some kind of transformation in your life. It is also a well-known character in many children’s stories, and it never fails to make me chuckle with its tricks and creative antics that motivate me to move forward in my life. I hope this necklace brings the same laughter I experienced growing up and serves as a symbol of creativity in one’s life.

This pendant is crafted using a mixed-media metalsmithing technique, featuring an aged-look patina finish and solder inlay on copper as the main frame. The two rabbits are made of textured sterling silver and sugar-coated enamel on fine silver. Glass enamel carrots, oxidized sterling silver clovers, Cubic Zirconia in tube settings, and a domed silver moon with scattered granulations all over the playland atmosphere. The pendant is completed and ready to wear on a blackened sterling silver rectangular chain.
